The Dumpster Chronicles, Episode 4

My husband Jamie reported that he noticed the following weird item at the dump today that someone threw away:

One (1) Stripper Pole.

Yes, that's right.

Someone had stuffed it back into the box that it originally came in, and threw it away.

I guess somebody finally broke down and told the owner of it not to quit her day job.  O__o

Jamie unfortunately didn't get to take a picture of it.  Then I asked him "Hey, that's metal, isn't it"?  And he said yeah, but that he wasn't able to grab it out of the pile at the dump.

The reason I'm obsessed with metal is that you can collect up a load of various metal (food cans, aluminum cans, and basically any bits & pieces of metal of any kind; junk electronics, and even old car batteries) and take it to the scrapyard, and they pay you MONEY for the junk!  GOOD money!  Yesterday Jamie hauled just a small pickup-truck-bed-sized load off to the scrapyard, and they gave him $90.45 for the garbage!

It's like getting free money!  Like walking along and finding a hundred-dollar-bill on the sidewalk somewhere!

So it's kind of a shame...once the *stripper* was through with her pole, she could've taken it to the scrapyard, and they would've cut her a check for the value of it, and stuffed it into her thong!  :/  What a waste!

LOL!
